The automotive marketing has gone wild these days, with the car companies attaching the “sports” designation to almost anything that moves. However, there are certain vehicles that really deserve this to be included in their names. One of these is the Cadillac CTS-V Sports Wagon, a vehicle that is making its European debut at the Geneva Auto Show.

Wait... what? Yes, the bad boys driving vehicles with RS, M or AMG badges on now have a huge reason to be worried. So, let’s hear the reason: a 6.2 liter V8 powerplant that pushes the rear wheels with 564 hp. The unit can be mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or to a six-speed automatic transmission.

However, this is not a “brute force” machine, as it comes with a multitude of smart tech goodies, such as the Magnetic Ride Control, a suspension system that uses magneto-rheological technology. Meanwhile, the braking system has been supplied by Brembo.

As for the interior of the station wagon, this comes packed with multiple premium features, with the list of goodies also including sporty items, such as Recaro seats.

Inside, the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon show car is trimmed in exclusive black leather with Alcantara accents. The upper section of the instrument panel and upper door panels are covered in the same premium leather, accented with midnight Sapele wood, while the microfiber material and stitching is applied to the lower door panels, pillars, console lid, headliner and steering wheel center. The show car features fine-grain black leather-trimmed Recaro seats with Alcantara seat inserts,” stated the press release.
