BMW’s last M3 Coupe model was pulled out of production last year, leaving us without the last naturally aspirated engine even built by the M division. However, before it was pulled, the Munich-based company made sure we got the most out of it.
In doing so they also launched a couple of special edition models, a couple even fitted with a special, upgraded engine that had more power and torque than the regular versions.

We’re talking about the GTS and CRT models, of course. Both of them used a stroked 4.4-liter version of the S65 engine, making 450 HP. However, they were separated by the number of doors they had a couple more details.

While the former was a track beast, the focus when developing being put on making it lighter and more agile, the CRT version was a sedan fitted with all sorts of luxurious options but was still lighter than the standard model.

Furthermore, the GTS was built in 250 units while the CRT was limited to 67. Even so, G-Power found a way to get its hands on one of each and tune the hell out of them.

In order to say goodbye to an era, they fitted these cars with their own ASA Superchargers and took them up to 650 HP and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque, numbers worthy of supercar status. With these new figures, the two are capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 4.1 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 11.8 seconds and a top speed of 323 km/h (200 mph).

Of course, all of this comes at a price. Apart from the price you’ll have to pay for the GTS/CRT car (if you can get one), you’ll also have to pony up €23,500 for the G-Power SK II Supercharger system and the installation fee. That’s going to add up to over €100,000.
