Free Nokia 5230 Sat Nav from Peugeot

The British division of Peugeot announced today it has debuted a new marketing scheme, aimed at attracting new customers. The company will be giving away a Nokia 5230 smartphone along with free Sat Nav to any customer who orders a new car this month.

The Nokia Sat Nav includes features such as ‘Find Places’, ‘Share Your Location’, Weather, Events, Lonely Planet and Michelin Guides. Users can also enjoy the ‘Walk’ feature with built-in voice guidance, as well as the free ‘Own Voice’ app from Nokia’s Ovi Store.

“I am delighted to announce this partnership with one of the world’s most recognisable mobile phone brands – Nokia.  It’s excellent to give our customers a great added extra when buying a new Peugeot car,” Ollie Griffin, Manager, Brand Advertising & Communications Marketing - Peugeot, said in a release.

“Our multi-million pound advertising campaign with the strap-line, ‘Free sat Nav on Nokia Smartphones’ sends a clear message to consumers everywhere about the value of our free maps offer.  We want to get ‘Nokia Sat-Nav for life’ to as many UK customers as possible.  Joining forces with Peugeot to offer free Sat Nav to customers who order a new car in June is a great partnership that will help us to achieve this,” added John Nichols, Marketing Director UK – Nokia.

The good news is the devices are unlocked, which enables it to support all SIM cards, while the handset and Sat Nav’s functionality are fully supported by a dedicated Nokia helpline with Nokia online support.
