Free Alternative Hyundai ix35 Offered in the UK

The British division of Hyundai announced today it has decided to offer a 1.7-liter diesel manual ix35 to its 200 longest waiting customers until their original 2.0-liter order arrives. This delay came as a consequence to the worldwide increase in demand for the more powerful variant.

Hyundai assures its customers that this interim solution comes at no extra cost, as they will only have to pay the price of their original order.

“The demand for ix35 and long waiting list demonstrates the popularity of the vehicle, but we are very aware of the inconvenience that these delays are causing our customers. We are doing all we can to improve the situation and constantly looking at ways to alleviate the wait. Customer satisfaction is our priority and we hope that this offer of an alternative ix35 will be attractive for our longest waiting customers,”
stated Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai UK’s managing director.

This is how the offer works according to Hyundai:

• Customer buys a 1.7-liter diesel ix35 from their dealership before the end of March – at the same time completing any part exchange they intended.
• When the customer’s ix35 2.0-liter diesel they ordered is ready, they can part exchange the 1.7-liter diesel at the price they paid for it, against their new 2.0 diesel - paying only the difference between the price they paid for the 1.7-liter and the price of the new 2.0-liter car as previously agreed with their dealer.
• In addition, Hyundai will give the customer £300 to cover costs that may be incurred for arranging finance and insurance on two cars instead of one
