2011 Peugeot HX1 Concept
The first time we took notice of Peugeot’s HX1 was when they released a video showing the innovative concept. It wasn’t the cool doors or the subtle but elegant design that got us, but the fact that they were marketing it as cool, youthful and hip, even though it’s got the body of an MPV.
Peugeot has done exactly the same again, this time in Frankfurt, where they filled it with young hipsters, sort of like a mobile lounge area where they hand out.

The HX1 is actually very technologically advanced as well, being powered by a 204 horsepower 2.2-liter turbodiesel linked to a 6-speed automatic box that moves the front wheels, and a 70kW electric motor that motivates the back.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
