We’ve already know abut BMW’s I3 Concept for a good number of months now, but this is the first chance we got to see it up close and personal, and we’re thoroughly impressed. We expected a little box with an electric motor. but the design is truly epic.
Check out those taillights that are stuck onto the all-transparent hatch, and those single piece seats covered in brown leather. It looks like it will be one of the roomiest and most practical such mores on the market when it enters production in 2013, and given that BMW want undercut the competition, it will also reportedly sell for under €40,000.

Unlike the i8 we just showed you, which is a PHEV, this is a pure electric vehicle with zero emissions and a range of 150 kilometers (a bit under 100 miles). However, it also has enough power to race a 2.0 TDI is you feel like it, thanks to a 125 kW electric motor and rear-wheel drive.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
