Those realizing the importance of the first all-electric racing championship starting this weekend might want to be in touch with the news regarding the event and even watch some live footage while on the go. Well, there’s an app for that now and is free.
The FIA Formula E Championship app is the official app to handle everything going on in the premiere season of the electric series, and when we say everything, we mean absolutely every piece of info you need, starting with the drivers’ profile, track descriptions and weather and ending with photos, videos and live data.

A new interesting feature is the 360-degree camera. Currently it’s letting you view a 360 degrees video with some garage preparations, but when the race starts, the feature will record and stream the entire event so you can see it from every angle.

The FanBoost feature included in the official website has been mirrored here as well, giving fans the opportunity to vote their favorite drivers.

Along with the start of the race, the app is also said to provide viewers live telemetry data, showing things like tire pressure, engine, battery level, torque and all those details. The only things missing from the view are the embedded social media features that should allow fans interact with the race organizers and teams.

The app is free and can be downloaded for both iOS and Android devices.
