Ford recently managed to steal VW’s most reliable commercial vehicle manufacturer crown, as shown by a recent survey that targeted the 50 largest contract hire and leasing companies in the UK.
The Ford Transit topped the van reliability survey, while the second place went to the Ford Transit Connect, which held on to its 2011 place. As for the manufacturer list, Ford moved ahead of VW compared to 2011. Those who responded to the survey, which is called FN50, have a combined light commercial vehicle fleet size of 160,000 units.
