With Top Gear currently put on hold while the lookout for charismatic presenters goes on, the show's formers stars are doing the best they can to stay in the game.
Clarkson, Hammond and May seem to have everything under control after their new car show started airing on Amazon Prime, but what is the Stig doing while things clear up for the future of Top Gear?

Well, he's having fun, judging by his latest appearance. You see, Ford unveiled a unique Ford Focus RS featuring an exterior designed by players of Forza Motorsport for Xbox at a Microsoft event. That means they needed a reliable and talented driver as well as a familiar face amongst petrolheads.

This is where the Stig comes into play, who drove the one-off Focus Rs during the event.

But let's focus on the car for a second. That livery you see covering the Focus RS's body was created by Forza Motorsport players and gaming enthusiasts from around the world will also be able to see it at the international 2015 Gamescom event in Cologne.

No technical changes were operated on this particular Focus RS, so it should rely on the same 350-horsepower 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine harnessed by selectable drive modes, including Drift Mode and Launch Control.

More to come from Ford and Forza Motorsport

“In Cologne we’re excited to showcase the real all-new Focus RS clad in a special paint scheme created by the Forza community. During Gamescom, gamers will also get to see the Forza Motorsport 6 cover-car Ford GT in person,” said Dan Greenawalt, creative director at Turn 10 Studios.

Yes, you read that right, the new Ford GT will show off its aerodynamic carbon fiber body from his status as the game's cover star.

Now go get your joysticks ready.
