Yesterday, we brought you the latest details about the third generation smart fortwo Brabus. Development of this tuned city car has already started, but it's only going to be available starting next year, which got us thinking: what else a smart customer with lots of cash could buy right now?
A bit of online digging revealed that an example of the smart forjeremy is actually for sale at a dealer in Mannheim, Germany, listed on the auction site mobile.de. It's one of the craziest cars made in the past decade and it will definitely stand out in a crowd.
For those unfamiliar with smart Brabus prices, the €24,800 being asked might seem a bit extreme. But considering it's only got 6,100 kilometers on the clock and has a fully customized fine leather interior, we find it's somewhat reasonable.
Described as "haute couture on four wheels", the smart forjeremy was created by h renowned fashion designed Jeremy Scott and first shown at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. Besides the big rear wings that make it look like a funky shoe, the fortwo has a tuned Brabus engine producing 102 hp, alloy wheels, a body kit and special paint finish. The Tridion safety cell, door mirror caps and radiator grille are painted in Alubeam, while the body panels and the alloy wheels come in polar while.
When new, the forjeremy could set you back as much as €40,600, which means this one might have lost as much as 40% of its value in one year. Does this mean it's the right time to buy?
