Fitness Star Jillian Michaels Gets Harley V-Rod Muscle

Renown fitness trainer and avid motorcyclist Jillian Michaels recently took possession of a customized Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle designed in collaboration between Michaels and the staff of the Motor Company’s Willie G. Davidson Styling Studio.

The blacked-out Muscle features polished engine cases with orange highlights and custom seat, radiator shroud, rear fender, exhaust, and Reactor wheels.

Michaels, star of NBC’s Biggest Loser and Losing it with Jillian, is a lifelong motorcyclist and has partnered recently with Harley-Davidson to promote motorcycle riding to women.

Back in January, Michaels has auctioned off her Yamaha FZ1 motorcycle to help the Haitians after the disastrous earthquake that hit their country. The winning bidder has also received a custom autographed helmet from her. The funds raised went to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.

The 2007 Yamaha FZ1 “Black Stiletto” custom streetfighter motorcycle is custom painted by Troy Lee and features titanium pipes, belly pan fairings, modified mirrors, iPod and iPhone capabilities, and a special alarm.

The American wellness expert has also encouraged women to gear up and get behind the handlebars to highlight Harley Davidson’s upcoming National Garage Party Month back in March. Harley-Davidson has then rewarded one woman and three of her friends with a transformational weekend and an opportunity to meet Michaels.

These free events are designed to be both fun and educational, covering topics such as a review of the basic motorcycle controls, how to customize a motorcycle's style and ergonomics, and how to gear up for a ride.

The 36-year-old uses a blend of strength training techniques with her clients, including kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, plyometrics, and weight training. She dedicated herself to helping the overweight transform their lives and their bodies for the better.
