The guys from AutoGuide were right there, on the spot, when the M235i was revealed yesterday and even go to shoot a video of the first ever M Performance vehicle to make it across the pond.
The M235i was unveiled wearing the same red paint as in the generous photo gallery BMW released when it took the virtual veils off it last year and I have to admit, it looks brilliant.

Just as Craig says, it’s gives off a unique vibe, just like a really playful puppy that can’t wait for you to take him our and show you just how fast it is compared to the other puppies in the park.

And rightfully so. Weighing just under 1,500 kilos (3,300 lbs) and all that weight being perfectly distributed between the axles when equipped with the manual 6-speed gearbox from the M3 and M4, the M235i is, undoubtedly a most agile Coupe.

With plenty of power on tap coming from the force-fed 3-liter engine under the bonnet making 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque and RWD, the new 2 Series will definitely give the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG a run for its money. Not to mention what will happen when the xDrive version will come out.
