Fiat has unveiled a brand new special edition for its popular Panda 4x4 A-segment model. Dubbed Panda 4x4 Antartica, the vehicle was developed to celebrate “30 years of success for the only 4x4 in the city car segment”.
Based on the Panda 4x4 Rock model, the Antartica features a white exterior with black roof and orange detailing (mirrors, hubcaps), 15-inch alloy wheels finished in Grey Diamond, fog lights, privacy windows and a special badge on the central pillar.
Interior enhancements includes a grey and orange upholstery, the Panda’s familiar three-seater rear seat with 60/40 folding backrests and the height adjustable driver’s seat as standard. The Antartica will become available with two engine options: the 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo (85 HP) and the 1.3-liter MultiJet II diesel (75 HP), both fitted with stop/start.
No word on pricing and availability yet, but more details should surface as the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show kicks in.
