Fiat Launched the Panda 4x4 Adventure

The Fiat Panda 4x4 Adventure edition was launched today in Italy and will be introduced in a very short time to the rest of Europe.

The Panda made a name for itself by being a very practical, economical and cheap urban alternative. With exterior design and interior features improving over the years, Panda has become quite a hit in Europe, having sold more than 5.8 million units including 4x4 versions, since it's debut in 1980.

The new Panda 4x4 Adventure edition is intended for those who are into outdoor activities and for people working in the agricultural or forestry domains. The car comes with a choice of two engines, a 1.2 60 HP petrol engine or a 1.3 Multijet 16V 70 HP diesel, both coupled with a four-wheel drive system that introduces a new electrohydrolic joint.

In addition to the standard Panda 4x4 version, the Adventure edition features a reinforced suspension and withstands a maximum load of 450 kg. The interior comes with washable anti-tear fabric and scratch resistant floor mats to further convince the customers of it's off road capabilities.

With a green bodywork and matt black paint on the roof bars, pillars and mudguard arches, 14 inch dark grey wheels, tinted windows and bronzed front lights, the Fiat Panda 4x4 Adventure edition presents itself as a practical and joyful capable little car, but with a pricy tag for the small segment, selling in Itally for 14,100 euros (the 1.2 petrol engine) and 16,000 euros (the 1.3 diesel version).
