Fiat 500 TwinAir Range Now Availble in the UK

Having attracted much positive feedback ever since its launch in 2010, the TwinAir has today become available within the 500 UK line-up, in two trim levels. Specifically, the TwinAir and TwinAir Plus are on sale from £11,600 OTR and £12,700 OTR, respectively.

The Fiat 500 TwinAir variants will be instantly recognizable due to the 15-inch black alloy wheels, burnished metal effects on dashboard and front and rear mouldings, spoiler, chrome exhaust pipe and sports seats. These elements are meant to enhance the 500’s sporty appearance and ‘fun to drive’ appeal.

The TwinAir Plus will add the following features over the TwinAir trim: 16-inch matt black alloy wheels, automatic climate control instead of air conditioning, Blue&Me, sport leather steering wheel with eight commands, leather gear knob, dark tinted windows, and body colored door mirrors.

As for the 0.9-litre TwinAir engine, the unit is capable of propelling the car to 60 mph (100km/h) in under 11 seconds and top out at 108 mph (174 km/h). Also, fuel consumption is rated at 68 UK mpg and emissions come in at 95 grams of CO2 per kilometer.

The TwinAir range will come in both 500 (hatchback) and 500C (convertible) versions and will only be available in vibrant colours such as Pearlescent Red, Tropicalia Yellow and Electroclash Grey. A special colour, Midnight Black, is available only on the TwinAir Plus model.
