Fiat 500 Commercial: Italian Baby

Fiat USA is finally on the right track with the marketing of the Mexican-built 500. Only time will tell if sales figures will match the original expectations, but they keep this TV ad bombardment up, we’re confident they will.
They’ve started to play the Italian angle a lot more than ever, and it seems to work just fine. We’re talking New York Italian like the Cake Boss, not 16th Chapel stuff.

This new ad is called “Baby” and it promotes a new Fiat slogan - let your Italian out. Let’s hope they don’t mean we should drive like they do in Rome, because the little 500 would have a very short life.

We don't know if you've notived this, but "che cosa guardi" is a line that Catrinel Menghia also delivered in her seductive commercial for the 500 Abarth.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
