Introduced at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show back in January, the Fiat 500 Cattiva concept will become a production model in the near future, the Italian automaker revealed.
Speaking at the first drive event of the 500L in Baltimore, Fiat North America chief Jason Stoicevich told Autoblog the Cattiva will see a production version, but declined giving further details. “I can guarantee you it will happen. I just can’t tell you when,” he said.

Based on the US-spec Fiat 500T, the 500 Cattiva concept sports a rich copper exterior paint with black accents, unique 16-inch alloy wheels and a roof spoiler. Inside, the attractive vehicle was enhanced with a matte black instrument panel, and silver stitching for the sport steering wheel and shift knob.

Under the hood, the Cattiva concept shares 500T’s turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder MultiAir engine and it’s likely the production version will be green-lighted with same 135 HP mill.
