Now that Ferrari is back in the turbo game, we can’t help but think of the F40, which was the last Prancing Horse to use forced induction before Maranello fully switched to natural aspiration. Contemporary Ferraris have become considerably more practical than cars like the F40, even though we have a picture that comes to contradict that.
As you can see above, the F40 can be used to hand laundry out to dry. In fact, it looks like the owner is using his Ferrari as a motorhome. And judging by the clothing items, his SO is accompanying him. By the way, there’s even a Ferrari-branded item - just when we thought that actual Ferrari owners leave the Prancing Horse merchandise for those who only dream about owning such a car.
Come to think of it, all the owner would to do in order to accelerate the drying process would be to fire up that twin turbo V8 and let the resulting heat do its job.
Of course, there could be one little issue here and that concerns the events that happen once night falls. We are, of course, referring to to the sleeping part - perhaps certain people can easily cope with spending a night inside their car, but anybody who’s sat in an F40 knows this Prancing Horse’s saddle isn’t exactly the kind you can sleep in.
The 308 on the right side of the image doesn’t seem too impressed with the F40's display of practicality though...
