Since the Geneva Motor Show is approaching, the guys from Ferrari decided to make a statement and announced that they will be introducing a new model called 149 M Project.
We must admit the name is pretty strange and leaves room for quite a lot of imagination. Still, it is believed that this particular car will somewhat be an evolution of the current California as the company has a tendency to apply the M tag on models that have been upgraded or have received certain enhancements.

Whatever might be the case, the next California is expected to meet the public eye sometime this spring and it is expected to incorporate a turbocharged engine, similar to the 3.8-liter V-8 from the Maserati Quattroporte.

Moreover, it is believed that all the major changes will concern the vehicle’s design, the California model receiving thus a facelift and not be replaced with a completely different model.

Until we’ll be able to finally to see things for ourselves on March 4 at the Geneva Motor Show , we are pleased to tell you that Ferrari will reveal the mysterious 149 M a bit early, via internet on February 12.
