Ferrari Announces 7-Year Maintenance Plan in NA, Record Sales

As a sign of appreciation for its clients, Ferrari North America announced a new customer care service. The program is addressed to clients who are ordering the 2012 Ferrari California, 458 Italia or FF from Ferrari’sdealership network offering a free seven-year scheduled maintenance program. This is actually a first in the car manufacturing industry, considering the fact that this is actually a long term service care and money saving process.

Anotehr thing worth mentioning is that the Genuine Maintenance program covers each individual vehicle and can be extended to following owners during the entire seven-year program.

The care program which is being launched around the world, covers the scheduled maintenance labour at standard service intervals of 12,500 miles, or once a year with no restriction on the total mileage along with genuine spare parts, and approved lubricants.

The announcement comes as a result after Ferrari’s net profits grew in the first six months of the year with 23.5 percent, to $131.86 million. The supercar manufacturer delivered 3,577 cars in that time, meaning an 11.8 percent rising compared with 2011. In North America, sales have increased to 23.2 percent to 939 units in the first six months, showing that North America remains the No.1 market for the brand.

The Genuine Maintenance program will be a definite plus in vehicle care and will also bring the owners peace of mind, considering that the vehicle will be put to regular annual inspections by Ferrari-trained personnel using factory-approved dedicated diagnostic equipment.
