We’re always excited when we hear that a Ferrari model might be getting a new styling package as we’re talking about a well known supercar. So, when we heard that the guys from Duke Dynamics released details of their future styling pack for the Ferrari 458 Italia, we were than more intrigued.
It appears that we’ll be getting a new name as well, the 458 Velocita and the vehicle will only feature design upgrades and no performance ones. So, we’re going to see a Ferrari 458 Italia dubbed the 458 Velocita with carbon fiber side skirts and a revised hood, new bumpers as well as a rear spoiler and custom exhaust tips.
Since the company hasn’t thought about changing anything at the performance level, the Velocita will have the same 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces 570 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque.
Things aren’t exactly certain as the styling package will be made available later this real, therefore we can expect some changes. Who knows, until pricing will be announced maybe the guys from Duke Dynamics will shake things up.
