Growing up with so many spectacular Ferrari models, we would’ve expected the Prancing Horse to release some superb creations with each new generation. Well, contemporary Ferraris are many things, but, alas, they’re not among our favorite designs. Apparently, we’re not the only ones wishing the 458 would look a little different, for instance.
Believe it or not, the rather appealing creation you see in the adjacent images is a design study using the 458 as a starting point. Dubbed Project F, this comes from Dutch penning specialists Ugur Sahin.
While we agree that the design is more eye-catching than what the Ferrari 458 has to offer, we can’t say all of its elements are totally new. For example, the rear end does remind us of the LaFerrari. Then again, in the contemporary automotive landscape, such a quest is nearly impossible to complete.
Nonetheless, Ugur Sahin has done this before. The company has come up with Corvette-based designs, such as the Corvette Z03 and the Soleil Anandi. The company actually built the cars, so we don’t see why this would not happen again. Of course, such a move would require a customer...
