Ferracci Ducati to Use K-Tech Suspension Components

The Celtic/Fast By Ferracci Racing machine will use K-Tech Suspension tech over the 2011 AMA Pro Racing Daytona Sportbike season, Orient Express- the official U.S. importer and distributor - announced today. The new Ducati 848 EVO sportbike will therefore boast several K-Tech components, including the race proven front fork cartridges and newly released rear shock.

"Having K-Tech Suspension on-board the new Ducati 848 Evo motorcycles gave PJ that extra confidence to really push hard in the test. PJ spent the 2010 season working with K-Tech, and we were very pleased with the results. The 848 Evo Ducati is a new experience for PJ, and K-Tech made for an easier transition,"
stated Barry Gilsenan, Celtic Racing's team owner.

Fast By Ferracci has a glorious racing history, winning both the World Superbike Championship and the AMA Pro SuperBike Championship in the 1990s with Ducati.

"Every change we made was predictable and well controlled, making setup quick and smooth," tuning legend Eraldo Ferracci said.

Racing for the Celtic/FBF team will be P.J. Jacobsen, the young New Yorker who has earned nine top ten finishes in AMA Pro's most competitive class in 2010.

"Daytona was great! We had an awesome first ride on the 848, and I am really looking forward to 2011,"
added young gun P.J. Jacobsen.

Since the team's inception in 2001, Celtic Racing’s riders have earned the podium in AMA Pro Superbike, Formula Xtreme, and the XR1200 series along the way. The team has high hopes for the 2011 thanks to their new partnership with Fast by Ferracci.
