Let's face it: Fast & Furious isn't the best street racing-themed action movie saga out there, but it rallied a great deal of car and non-car people over the years in liking pretty much anything with four wheels and a powerful engine under the hood. The 13-year-old franchise will culminate next year with it's seventh installment and (*brace yourselves*) a theme park ride inspired by the franchise's street racing paraphernalia.
As the final Fast & Furious movie approaches its April 2015 screening date, Universal Studios wants to materialize the spiritual legacy of this saga into an exciting ride at its Hollywood theme park. According to officials, the "Fast & Furious - Supercharged" hydraulic-motion based ride will be inaugurated at the same time the seventh F&F movie will be released.

The ride will be situated within a 50,000 square foot building and will incorporate realistic special effects and state-of-the-art 3D imagery projected onto the world's longest 360-degree screen, spanning nearly 400 foot in length. "Fast & Furious - Supercharged" will act as the ending segment of the famous Studio Tour tram ride.

If this ride isn't exactly your cup of coffee, Universal Studios said it will launch two more attractions, as part of a 25-year expansion that will cost $1.6 billion. One of them is the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride opening April 12, while the Wizard World of Harry Potter is set to debut in 2016.
