Fans Continue to Pay Tribute to Michael Jackson

Almost three weeks have passed since MJ’s memorial service was held in Staples Center, and fans still mourn the King of Pop, finding more original ways to pay tribute to the biggest name in the music industry. Take the example of two teenagers who came up with original ideas to show an "everlasting appreciation" to Michael Jackson.

The 18-year-old boy Eric Callisto created a website that gives fans the opportunity to put their name, business or Web site on a Smart Fortwo.

Fans can also sign up to get a personalized flower sent to his memorial once a year, for an unlimited period of time. All this for a $10 donation that fans can pay Callisto through PayPal.

According to Inside Line via edmunds.com, Callisto is waiting to get approval from MJ’s family to make the Smart Fortwo the official tribute car and promises to use it to deliver the flowers each year.

Another Michael Jackson fan, learner driver Thomas Slater purchased a personalized registration plate tribute to the star.

The MJ09 KOP registration plate (which can be read Michael Jackson 09 King of Pop) was bought by the teenager shortly after he heard about MJ’s death and though he doesn’t own a car yet, he looks forward in buying one just to get the opportunity to use the plates.

According to carmony.co.uk, Thomas said: "Don't ask why, but I immediately went online and had a play with the DVLA's search facility and to my delight MJ09 KOP was available. It only cost £390, being able to have his initials, the year of his death and the letters KOP for King of Pop as a registration for my car will always be with me."
