F1 Title Only Target for Mark Webber in 2011

Red Bull's Mark Webber has no other target in mind than to become world champion at the end of the 2011 Formula 1 championship. And that's quite easy to understand, considering the fact that this will most likely be his last campaign in Formula 1.

Webber had a clean shot at the title last season, when he led most of the campaign before settling for 3rd place overall, behind teammate Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. And judging by his not-so-friendly relationship with Vettel, extending his deal past the 2011 season doesn't sound like much of a possibility. Which make this Webber's last shot at becoming F1 champion.

I have a great opportunity and a great team of people around me to focus and go out there and try and improve on what I did last year,” said an optimistic Webber at the launch of the Red Bull RB7 single-seater, according to Autosport.

There are a whole load of things I did right last year, but still some very proud moments. We are not sure how the results will be initially because there are some good opposition but we are very optimistic that the car will be very, very good and the guys have done another good job with that.”

Head on mate, and going to do the best job I can. I am going to start the season better than I did last year as well. I didn't start season as good but 80 percent of season in front was good so we will try and improve a little bit on those things and go for it.”

He also insisted that “motivation is not a problem for any of us to go into this campaign”, despite the fact that Red Bull has just secured its first title in Formula 1.
