Alright, so you’re thinking that the Need For Speed franchise is as overrated as Disneyland, plus it’s not as refined as a proper Formula 1 simulator. Just be patient for a couple of months and then get ready to kiss your social life goodbye.
We have good reason to make such assumption as Codemasters just announced the release of the F1 2015 game this June.

But instead of just improving the last year’s edition of the game, Codemasters claims that F1 2015 will start a revolution on the way cars are controlled plus the overall racing experience is going to be real close to what happens in real life. Except, of course, for the smell of burned rubber and fuel.

“F1 2015 marks an exciting new chapter for Codemasters and Formula One; it’s a shift in direction for the game series, on new formats and our brand new game engine, with the game set to be released earlier in the season, launching this June,” said Paul Jean, F1 2015 game director.

The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming consoles but PC users are also going to be able to taste the fame or the disgrace that comes with Formula 1 virtual driving.

However, those lucky enough to play the game on a console are given the chance to interact with the race engineer via voice recognition technology, asking for race info, weather and tire status as if they were racing in Fernando Alonso’s or Lewis Hamilton’s shoes.

Remember, be patient and practice growing a beard, because once you get the game and star playing it, you won’t have time for shaving. Just remember to grab a snack from time to time and stay hydrated.
