Extremely Tight Corner On Highway Onramp Causes Serious Crash

Getting onto the highway is supposed to be easy. You set your destination, then find the nearest onramp, you get onto it and then you are on your way. However, some highway onramps seem to have been designed by people who could not be called engineers, due to their very badly thought out design.
This video clearly exemplifies the point, as the driver ends up crashing into the guard rail. The corner itself is extremely tight and it would undoubtedly trouble even larger vans. Factor in the fact that the conditions look rather slippery, and you have a ‘recipe for disaster’ (pardon the cliche).

Now, while it may have partly been the driver’s fault, as he was ‘slightly’ speeding, that particular corner should not have been placed there, ever, and we have a suspicion that it is the kind of corner which is well-known by the locals, yet drivers from out of town always fall victim to it.
