Electric eRoehr Now Available for Order

Earlier this year, American motorcycle manufacturer Roehr was announcing it had plans to introduce a line of electric sport and racing motorcycles this spring, dubbed the eSuperbike and eSupersport. Now, the company revealed that its eRoehr electric bike line is currently available for order.

The new three Roehr electric models include the entry-level eSuperSport, the eSuperBike and the race-ready eSuperBike RR.

The eSuperSport is fitted with a 48hp motor, 395lb weight, dual 300mm brake discs up front, 41mm inverted forks, and 5.8Kw/h worth of batteries good for 80 miles of range and 100 mph top speed.

Next we have the eSuperBike that comes with two of the same motors for a combined power of 96 hp but a total weight of 500 lbs. Also, the rear shock received an Ohlins unit and 7.7Kw/h worth of batteries good for 100 miles of range and 135 mph top speed.

Finally there's the RR model, which moves up to Ohlins suspension on the front, lightweight wheels, dual AC Induction motors for 96hp, direct drive and a 7.7 kilowatt-hour LiFePO4 battery pack. It also offers 135 miles/hr top speed.

Pricing for the new eRoehr line starts at $16,995, with the eSuperBike and the RR model priced at $27,595 and $34,495 respectively.

Customers can place their orders and the manufacturer will custom-build the bike for them. This means that not all bikes come in the same red paint as the one in the pictures.

Orders will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, along with a $2000 refundable deposit.
