They started out with a set of Cool Carbon brake pads, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines and ATE brake fluid. That should improve the braking performance, especially under heavy load.

After that a set of H&R lowering springs was installed to give the car the stance and equilibrium it needs around a raceway. The finishing touch was a set of 18" APEX EC-7 wheels along with Megan Racing mufflers.

The end result is a Jet Black E90 M3 ready to take on the Auto Club Speedway event that is just around the corner. Since we're talking about an event that will have plenty of powerful cars on display, let's take a closer look at what this thing has under the bonnet.

The owner decided to keep things stock and that means that we're dealing with a naturally aspirated 4-liter V8 making 420 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, an amount that doesn't seem all that high these days. However, the big sedan is capable of accelerating to the benchmark speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds when equipped with the ultra fast 7-speed DCT gearbox and 0.2 seconds slower when fitted with the manual 6-speed version.
