Ducati has shown off the first bikes in its entire range that has been updated for 2013. They are a set of Multistrada models, including a range-topping 1200 S Granturismo. It features larger panniers, a top storage box, as well as additional LEDs and a larger bigger information screen.
Powering the Multistrada is the ‘second generation’ Testarosa 11° engine, though no details on it are currently unavailable. The bikes also feature Skyhook suspension, which is rumored to be similar to that fitted to the BMW S1000RR HP4. The German bike allows the rider to choose from mutiple damping settings, as well as automatically adjusting to the road conditions, offering a safer and more accurate handling experience - similar to what adaptive dampers do for cars.

In addition to the clever suspension, the the Multistrada ‘Granturismo’ also features eight-way traction control, three-mode ABS, as well as multiple riding modes which the rider can choose at will. If motorbike technology is what you are looking for, the n the Multistrada, and particularly the ‘Granturismo’ is definitely a bike for you. However, if you think that all the electronic stuff gets in the way of the experience, you’re better off looking elsewhere.
