Ducati is doing a hell of a job pushing their Monster bikes in almost every market they're present in, and Australia makes no exception. The Oz-specific learner model of the Monster, the 659 ABS gets a one-grand discount, and is now available for $12,990 (USD 12,545 or €9,693) including GST (goods and services tax).
The Monster 659 ABS is produced especially for the Australian and Asian markets and was introduced almost 2 years ago, in June 2011. Ducati sold more than 750 units and finished 2012 as the second highest selling naked bike, regardless of displacement and price. To date, the Monster 659 ABS is in top 3 for 2013.
The Ducati Monster 659 ABS comes with a 2-year, unlimited kilometers warranty and 24 hours Riders Assist. It really seems like Ducati is on a larger-scale campaign for the Monster family, especially with the deals for Indonesian customers we told you about earlier. The discounted price does not include the on road costs, Ducati Australia reports.
