Great news for the Ducatisti in Brazil and in the whole South America: 9 months (funny, isn't it?) after the initial promise was made, Ducati opens their first showroom in Sao Paulo, on the Avenida Faria Lima.
Ducati is also announcing continuing the relationship with DAFRA, which operates a CKD (complete knock-down) assembly plant in Manaus, building Diavel and Monster 796 machines for the Borgo Panigale company. This continued association, together with the increased sales prospects will certainly help Ducati offer their bikes at a lower price, much to a win-win future scenario.

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali was present at the big event in Sao Paulo, and also flew south to Argentina, to sign an agreement with a Volkswagen Group subsidiary for importing motorcycles in the country. South America's third-largest economy, Argentina could see the first Ducati machines as early as September 2013.
