Downhill Skateboarder Hits Reindeer at Over 70 Km/h

Downhill skateboarding is easily one of the most exciting ways to get around without an engine, by using your own body’s inertia to keep going. It is, however, very tricky to master, and any would-be downhill skateboarder will definitely fall, at least at first, a lot.
The main reason for falling will be lack of balance, experience and bravery, yet sometimes even those who are experienced encounter... unexpected problems.

This rather unfortunate skateboarder has the bad luck of crossing paths with a rather speedy deer, which makes him lose balance, and fall. Note the fact that the speeds the skateboarders were traveling at were quite serious, for people with absolutely no protection whatsoever - over 70 km/h (45 mph).

The fallen skateboarder, Ryan Vitale, was OK after the incident, suffering only from bruises and road rash. This video just goes to show that ‘expect the unexpected’ is a very good piece of advice to give to anybody.
