Why would you watch a 1,400-hp Porsche 911 race against an F1 car and a MotoGP bike? Well... why wouldn't you?! It's what's on today's menu, and calling this quarter-mile drag race ludicrous doesn't even begin to describe it. Now, without further ado, let's check out how this nonsense plays out.
Before we get to the main entree, let's check out our contestants first to see how they fare against each other on paper.

First, we have an unbelievable feat of engineering: a Porsche 911 Turbo S that's undergone some heavy modifications. The standard 3.8-liter flat-six twin-turbo engine has been upgraded into a bigger 4.2-liter powerplant that can produce a whopping 1,400 hp (1,419 ps). Unfortunately, we didn't get a torque count.

Behind the wheel is Mat Watson, this show's host from the "carwow" YouTube channel. Unfortunately, he won't feel the car's full force because he's limiting the vehicle to 1,200 hp. The UK weather wasn't too friendly, so 1,400 hp is too much.

It weighs 3,747 lbs or 1,700 kg, and the price for this car, with everything included, is $220,302 or 180,000 GBP.

The Porsche is going against the RB8 (Red Bull) Formula 1 car, which won the 2012 world championship with Sebastian Vettel behind the wheel.

This technical marvel weighs just 1,543 lbs. or 700 kg and has a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 that can deliver 800 horsepower.

Next, we have the Red Bull KTM RC16, driven by Dani Pedrosa. This 2-wheeled menace has a 1,000 CC V4 engine that can output more than 270hp and weighs just 346 lbs. (157 kg).

Now it's off to the races, or obliteration, better put, given that the KTM bike absolutely destroyed the modded Porsche 911 and Red Bull's F1 car. In fact, the outcome was so damaging for the 4-wheelers that the bike dropped out of the race for lack of serious competition.

Next, it was between the 911 and RB8. Initially, Mat had the advantage right off the starting line, but the F1 car caught up just in time to win the race by half a car length.

As for the results, here they are, folks! The KTM MotoGP bike crossed the finish line in just 8.6 seconds, the RB8 in 9.3 seconds, and in last place, the Porsche did it in 9.6 seconds.

Obviously, the two cars went for a 1/2-mile roll race after that, where the F1 car won again by about two or three car lengths.

Finally, can you guess who won the break test from 100mph? That's right, the lightweight F1 car, of course.

The race was immensely entertaining, but after all is said and done, too bad Mat Watson couldn't drive with the full force of the 911, because it looks like he could have won against the RB8 if he didn't have those extra 200 ponies parked in the stables.
