The Corvette ZR-1 was popular enough on its own, but once the 2016 Corvette Zo6 took its place in the supercharger booth, fans started debating which one of the two is coolest, which only increased the aura of the ZR-1.
As a result, the online masses must’ve asked and answered each and every potential question on the ZR-1 topic. Or have they?

What we have for you today is an answer to a Chevy question nobody asked - will a lawn mower fit in a Corvette ZR-1? With the practical rear hatch of the ‘Vette, the answer should be a positive one, but you can never be sure until you get out there and make it happen.

Well, the guys in the video below decide it’s time to put the Corvette’s practicality to the test, attempting to use the supercar to haul a lawn mower.

Of course, the answer to the question above also depends on the mower you choose. We’re no gardening experts, so we don’t know the exact model used here, but we can confirm they have succeeded.

However, the operation wasn’t one hundred percent clean, since the hatch had to be left in the upward position. Detaching the handle of the mower would’ve solved that problem, but that would’ve complicated things.

Thus, the ZR-1 had to transport the gardening hardware through the neighborhood, not exactly the ideal place to put that LS9 V8 to good use. We don’t have a power gauge to analyze, but betting on a figure showing how many of the 620 hp were actually used would be a tricky business.

PS: this was done as some sort of a prank, so if you want to skip right to the action, you can start at the 2:20 point.
