Do the Audi A4, VW Tiguan and Infiniti EX Have Twins in China?

The Chinese are know for cloning everything from Michael Jackson to the iPhone, and the automotive industry is not exempt from being photographed and mimicked in the worst possible way.

Despite recent efforts from Chinese automakers to produce modern, relevant cars for domestic and world markets, there is still no shortage of knockoffs and copies of other European and Japanese models recorded.

When we first laid eyes on the Yema Auto calls the E Series, or what we know as the EX, we thought it was the real deal but with bad lighting. The Infiniti, plus Volkswagen Tiguan (the facelift!!!) and the Audi A4 were all copied and unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show 2011, and we can show you a couple of photos provided by Auto Ifeng.

Sould Yema be allowed to do this sort of thing, even though billions went into the development of the actual cars that have been cloned here? What’s more the proportions are all wrong, they all have tiny rims and the panel gaps are awful.

What next, the VW Beetle?

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
