Halloween is now past us, but its tales are not and we’re bringing you the story of a dirt bike rider who tried to trick the police and treat the audience at an offroading event held in Glamis, California. The man generated a wild police chase out in the open, with the local authorities being more than eager to apprehend him.
The action took place in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area, where a dirt biker went around the local offroad park without the safety flag on his bike. The track marshals started chasing the guy, probably willing to address the flag issue.
However, the rider wasn’t ready to be brought to a halt, so he started running. In this game of determination, it looks like the local authorities had an even greater asset on their side, namely their numbers. The police joined the chase, transforming this into one literally hot pursuit.
To say that the dirtbiker was outnumbered would be an understatement, as he was being chased by SUVs, ATVs and, the house specialty, LS7-powered dune buggys. Judging by the sheer fact that he was attending such a specialized event, it looks like the man didn't actually want to escape, but just enjoyed the red-and-blue-lights action on the dunes.
We won’t spoil the fun by giving you more details on this chase, but we can only imagine the biker was perhaps willing to film a scene for the upcoming Mad Max Fury Road movie.
