The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS LLC) has announced that 18 car manufacturers will introduce brand new production and concept cars at next year’s edition of the Detroit Auto Show, scheduled to take place in January.
World debuts at Detroit 2014 will include concepts, luxury, sports/performance, crossovers, trucks, SUVs, and alternative fuel technologies from companies such as Acura, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, the Chrysler Group, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
"Manufacturers have clearly stated that Detroit continues to be a significant component in their global auto show strategies," said NAIAS 2014 chairman Bob Shuman. "Our partnership with manufacturers in Asia, Europe, and North America has never been stronger, and their ongoing confidence in the NAIAS is evident by the critical worldwide product unveilings headed for Detroit's world stage."
