DC Shoes to Sponsor 2011 AMA Arenacross

The AMA Arenacross has a new sponsor for 2011, as DC Shoes had just inked a 3-year deal with the series.The company will have will have an on-site presence at the lives events in country's most popular arenas, enhancing brand awareness and further exposing the already popular footwear and apparel collections to an even greater audience.

DC Shoes had also signed a three-year to deal as the official and exclusive footwear sponsor of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross starting with the 2011 season. DC has supported some of the greatest motocross legends of all time including AMA Supercross class champions Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael and Jeff Emig, for more than ten years.

"We're proud to be supporting the Arenacross Series. This series gives riders, such as DC flow team rider Mitch Alcorn, a great platform to race before they enter Supercross and we're looking forward watching what develops this season," stated DC Moto Team Manager Nate Hawley.

"We are excited to bring DC on board as the official and exclusive footwear sponsor for the AMA Arenacross series. The Arenacross series is an excellent platform for DC to channel their widely-popular footwear line as well as their brand as a whole," said Arenacross Director Jayme Dalsing.

Last week, organizers revealed the the 2011 AMA Arenacross Series season will feature live timing and scoring for the first time ever for all 14 rounds. Initially made popular through Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, the live timing and scoring feature is a revolutionary advancement for the compact excitement of the arena-based series.

The season kicks off on January 8 from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.
