Dartz Kombat Makes Chinese Debut

The Dartz Kombat, one of the world’s toughest civilian vehicles, has recently entered the Chinese market, using the 2011 Chengdu Auto Show for this. The vehicle arrived in style, with its booth also including a gold-plated Bellpere mobile phone and a bottle of RussoBaltique Vodka, which is made of solid gold.
The Latvian automotive producer also used the occasion to put a price on the car’s head: 9.18 million yuan ($1.44 million or EUR1.07 million at the current exchange rates). For the money, you get an 80liter V8 that delivers 456 hp, which is hidden inside an armored body. Even though it is carrying amour, this is no slow ride, as the top speed sits at 149 mph (240 km/h).
