Danny Trejo Snapped on the RSD Stealth Bagger

Many know about Danny Trejo’s knife skills, as we’ve seen him in plenty of Hollywood movies, but few know about his love for motorcycles. So, it was when he came to Roland Sands to pick up some motorcycle parts, that he was asked, and agreed, to pose on the company’s Stealth Bagger.

A child drug addict and criminal, Danny Trejo was in and out of jail for 11 years, until he has successfully completed a 12-step rehabilitation program that changed his life.

He was approached by a man while speaking at a Cocaine Anonymous meeting in 1985, who asked him to meet up on what turned out to be the set of the Runway Train movie. Trejo was then offered a role as a convict extra, and it was also where he met a screenwriter who did time with him in San Quentin.

Asked to train some actors for a boxing match, Trejo also worked with Eric Roberts, which got the Mexican American a featured role as Roberts’ opponent in the film. Trejo has subsequently appeared in many other films, usually as a tough criminal or villain.

Trejo said he often chooses to play bad guys to teach younger audiences that bad guys often die or go to prison, and that one should try to live a decent life.

“When a badass dude known for his knife wielding skills drops by your shop, you figure he’s more likely to slice and dice some of YOUR parts rather than simply pick up a few,” explained RSD. “In honor of his “stealth” appearance we decided to not only snap a pic of him with our Stealth Bagger, but also give a sneak peak of a few of our 2011 ad campaign shots.”

RSD is known for groundbreaking custom motorcycles, progressive aftermarket products and has had television segments broadcasted on MTV, SPEED Channel, ESPN2, Discovery Channel, and TLC networks.
