Dainese has shown their all-new Hybrid Knee Brace, an advanced piece of motorcycle protective gear for off-road riders and all those concerned with their safety.
There are quite a lot of knee injuries which do not necessary involve fractures: ligament and muscle strains can keep a pro rider away from his bike for quite a long time. While for an enthusiast, this is only some time off from riding, an athlete would rather not have this happening to his or her knees.

The Dainese Hybrid Knee Brace is fully adjustable thanks to its breathable velcro straps: the front ones will adjust the brace to copy the size of the rider's leg, while the ones in the rear help keep in secured in place.

Made from anodized Ergal aluminium, the Hybrid Knee Brace boasts on extreme rigidity and will extend its resilience to the riders' knee joint. The soft, sock-absorbing padding is made form shape retention memory foam for a superior fit, while the knee cap is protected by a Pro Shape rubber honeycomb insert.

The variable-radius polycentric hinge follows the natural movement of the knee joint for superior comfort and protection. The two halves of the Hybrid Knee Brace will stay in place better as the leg flexes, allowing the supportive structure to work better, limiting hyperextension and lateral flexing from both ways and torsion.

The price of the new Dainese Hybrid Knee Brace will be announced soon and we estimate it will also be in the $300 (€225) range.
