Daimler AG and BYD Auto today announced a fruit of their joint venture, a dedicated electric vehicle destined for the Chinese market, which will first arrive in the form of a concept at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2012, while the production model is scheduled to be launched in 2013.
We’ll remind you that the joint venture we are talking about, Shenzhen BYD Daimler New Technology Co. Ltd (BDNT), was created last year, with the aim of producing EVs for the Chinese market.
