Fresh blood for the 2013 MotoGP championship as Ioda Sutter-BMW announces the debut of Czech rider Lukas Pesek in the first class world racing series. Pesek will team up with Danilo Petrucci.
The 27-year-old rider has made it to fame after successfully racing the 125cc machines in mid-2000s. His biggest achievement was finishing fourth in the 2007 championship but it looks like his talent and potential were shining through. His last race at the world championship level was in moto2 in 2010, with partial programmes in the Spanish and German series since then.
Pesek will debut his MotoGP career in a BMW machine for Ioda Suter Team and will be racing against the big guys, Rossi, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Hayden and the whole gang. Giampietro Sacchi, Ioda Suter-BMW team boss has full confidence in Pesek's ability to race the MotoGP: “It's a tough challenge lying ahead of him but I'm sure he can do well in the premier class"he added.
