Here's one piece of European custom creativity bestowed over one of the most aggressive bikes ever built: the Yamaha V-MAX, the Marcus Walz way. Just like with other extreme bikes, creating a more striking result is a rather hard task, but this motorcycle is the perfect proof that great things can actually become majestic.
2006 winner of Discovery's Bike Build-Off, Marcus Walz understood that there is little one can add to the already amazing V-MAX, so the battle was to be fought in the character and styling terms. And he couldn't be closer to the truth; he could of course, add a turbo to the V-MAX, just like we saw a Ducati Diavel receiving, but power missing style just doesn't cut it.

That's why Walz' Yamaha V-MAX is a bike “designed for visual stimulation, balancing aggression and aesthetics" as himself declares. Together with Ludovic Lazareth and Roland Sands, Marcus Walz is one of the only three customizers in the world Yamaha asked to build a new machine in about 3weeks, so it was also a test of focused creativity and manufacturing speed. We will be showing you the other two beasts in the near future.

Here's some older footage of the bike, and you should aldo know it's up for sale at €44,500 ($57,530).
