Maserati dealers in Europe will soon have a front wheel drive hatchback on their lot. No, we are not talking about a brand new model that Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne hid from us, but a custom-built Alfa Romeo Giulietta that will serve as customer courtesy car for the trident brand.
This has happened once before in the past, back in 2008, when the little Fiat 500 was used in a similar role by none other than Ferrari, so we’d say that Maserati owners haven’t go reason to complain.

But this isn’t about any ordinary hatch, but the range-topping Quadrifoglio Verde version, which packs 235 horsepower from its 1.75-liter turbocharged engine. All the 100 “Giulietta for Maserati’ limited edition models to be built will be fitted with Venere leather upholstery in 'Maserati Brown,' brushed aluminum inserts, aluminum door sill plates engraved with 'Giulietta' and 'Maserati', and a plaque on the dashboard with 'Alpha Romeo for Maserati.'

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
