CRP to Promote 2010 TTXGP Italian Championship

CRP Racing recently reached an agreement with TTXGP, the rights holders and founders of the eGrandPrix international world series, which made it the official promoter of the 2010 TTXGP Italian Championship. CRP will join the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI) to promote the clean emission, zero carbon championship for Italy.

All the teams the wish to enlist in the championship will therefore have CRP’s support, from the documentation needed to the necessary logistics.

"TTXGP is an inclusive organisation focused on building an eco-system that develops the sport for participation to all,”
TTXGP Founder Azhar Hussain said in a release.

“We are pleased that FMI and CRP have joined to deliver practical and real solutions to the challenges motorsport faces today. Italy has a long association with the highest level of motorsport performance and racing. We look forward to building that flair into TTXGP Italy Championship 2010."

Italian manufacturer CRP Racing is also building electric super sports motorcycles exclusively for TTXGP for its 2010 series. The eCRP1.0 made its debut at the Motorsports Industry Association (MIA) event Cleaner Racing Conference on January 13, 2010 at NEC in Birmingham.

The Italian dates scheduled are the following:
  • 26 and 27 June at Magione
  • 24 and 25 July at Franciacorta
  • 4 and 5 September at Franciacorta
  • 25 and 26 September at Mugello

The best 8 teams will be invited to the TTXGP Final/UEM 2010 at Albacete on October 24, 2010.
