Usher may have finished his Mercedes CLS63 AMG in Matte Black, but his charisma certainly shines behind the wheel, as it was recently confirmed on Suset Strip. The video below shows a cop “chasing” the R&B singer just to take a picture.
Usher was reportedly driving on Sunset around 2AM on Sunday and it seems that he was a bit on the speeding side, catching the eye of an LA County Sheriff deputy. The officer put his Crown Vic to use and started following Usher.
The story got really spicy when Usher ran a yellow light, with the patrol car crossing the intersection on a red light just to stay close to him. The mobile phone user filming the chase obviously stopped. He did catch up with the two subsequently, just as Usher was pulling over in fornt of Rock and Reilly’s Pub. The deputy also stops, goes inside the pub and takes a picture with Usher.
Of course, this wasn’t an actual chase, since the warning hardware on the Crown Victoria was not used. Still, the strong driving style of the police officers shows just how much he wanted to take a picture with the star.
Our say: Usher did not shoot the deputy, the latter shot the singer.
