It’s been a long weekend and we are a little hazy, but something about the Internet find of the day had us feeling totally dizzy and confused. Is it a trike or a car, and why does it have two front ends? Is that the engine we see in the back? Those are all questions that make us confused, but one thing is for sure: it’s for sale on eBay, and it’s awesomely strange!
This is a one-of -a-kind, the only one in the world like it, and we are glad. The vehicle is licensed as a motorcycle and is made up of a 1980 Chevy Citation, a 2.5-liter engine and two seats... plus a lot of fiber glass. The auction description says that the man that built this monster spent 3 making it, but we can’t say for sure if it was time well spent.
The seller claims that the Tritation has spent most of its life garaged since it needs a clutch. If you think that this is the car for you, then you might want to know that bidding is currently at $4,700 with the reserve not met.
“There are no stress cracks. The glass is new and in excellent condition. The car/Motorcycle was taken to Sturgis (several years back) and won first place in it's category. It has been garaged 90% of its creation. It has AC with the new 134 but the clutch is bad. My uncle is willing to fix the clutch if the auction does good. It is more than capable of doing 500 mile trip. This has been driven as fast as 75 mile per hour but 60-65 is ideal and smooth. It rides much like a 3 wheel motorcycle,” the seller says.
